Pastor Paul Enenche Reportedly Resurrects Dead Baby With Hole In The Heart (photo)

A popular man of God in Nigeria has reportedly resurrected a dead baby in Abuja.
A dead baby with hole in the hearth has been reportedly resurrected by Pastor Paul Enenche at the Glory Dome, Abuja.
The baby, who is barely a year old, was said to have been diagnosed with hole in the hearth about 11 months ago.
The testimony was shared by the baby’s mother amid tears of joy.
The visibly elated mother told the joyous congregation that the previous night, it was a tug of war as the baby could not sleep while battling with distress.
She said when she woke up around 6am, she discovered that the baby had stopped breathing.

“I covered her and brought to her the service around 9am. Till we got here, I was monitoring her breathe and she was still not breathing. However, during the course of the service while Daddy was declaring and ministering in worship, she jacked back to life,” the elated mother said.
Responding amid songs of worship, Dr. Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor, DIGC, revealed that during the ministration, the Holy Spirit whispered to him of the resurrection miracle.

“Only God can take this glory. I heard it clearly during the course of ministration through worship songs but for one reason or the other, it was not announced.”
Dr. Becky Enenche, who is a medical doctor, confirmed to the excitement of the congregation the miracle after she used her stethoscope to auscultate the breathe of the child.

Drama As Judge Forces Journalist To Delete Photos From Phone In Akwa Ibom

A Nigerian journalist has been forced to delete photos from her phone by a judge in Akwa Ibom state.
Journalist's phone
According to Premium Times, the court in Akwa Ibom on September 19 struck out the case against Mary Ekere, the journalist who was thrown into jail for two nights for taking photos of the state task force officials raiding a shop.

The state attorney general, Uwemedimo Nwoko, intervened in the case based on a directive from the state governor, Udom Emmanuel, Premium Times reports.

The task force is under the state government’s Environmental & Waste Management Agency headed by a man named Prince Ikim.

Ms Ekere was about to walk away from the sanitation court a free woman after the case against her was struck out, when the magistrate, Margaret Ekpedoho, suddenly appeared to have had a second thought on the matter.

The magistrate asked that the case file be brought back to her. She ordered Ms Ekere to delete from her phone the photos she took of the task force officials.

And the journalist, supervised by court officials, did just that.

Journalists who were in the courtroom to show solidarity with Ms Ekere were shocked by the magistrate’s action.

The magistrate said the raided shop was filled with expired goods. She questioned the journalist’s rights to take photos of state officials carrying out “enforcement”.

“If we allow this to go on, it means someday a husband and his wife could be making love inside their bedroom, and a journalist would go in to film them,”
Mrs Ekpedoho said.

She also commented on the outrage that followed Ms Ekere’s detention in Uyo prison, saying she gave a satisfactory explanation on the matter when she was summoned by the state chief judge.

“I have read all kinds of reports on social media about this case, let me tell you I am not intimidated.

“I was in my house drinking juice, and reading what you people were writing on Facebook. Journalists, I hope you people are there? Go and report it, fire on!”
 the magistrate said.

A human rights group, the Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO), Akwa Ibom State, had accused the magistrate, Mrs Ekpedoho, of giving an order via a telephone call for Ms Ekere to be thrown into jail, even when the journalist was not arraigned.

Mrs Ekpedoho, apparently reacting to the CLO’s claim, said the task force sometimes raid places in the night, and that she could come back at any time to sign a remand order. “I can sign a remand order at any time of the day, even if it is in the night,” she said in the courtroom.

The CLO, in a statement signed by its chairman, Franklyn Isong, and the secretary, Christopher Ekpo, said it condemned “the attitude of magistrates who are exploiting the haze surrounding the applicable law governing the administration of criminal justice in Akwa Ibom State to throw into prison persons accused of committing minor offences or even offences over which the magistrates do not have jurisdiction”.

The group called on the Akwa Ibom government to “bring out the Administration of Criminal Justice Law which the Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, signed into law on the 27th day of March 2017”.

The state attorney general, Mr Nwoko, reportedly apologised to Ms Ekere when he received her and the leaders of the journalists’ union in his office last week.

Mr Nwoko dissociated the state government from the arrest and detention of the journalist.

Mother-Of-Three Mauled To Death By Own Dogs At Home

Elayne Stanley,
Elayne Stanley

A woman has died after being attacked by two dogs in a house.

Mother-of-three Elayne Stanley, 44, was mauled at the house in Widnes on Tuesday evening.

Neighbours said they heard screams from the home in Graham Road before police arrived to find Ms Stanley seriously injured.

Cheshire Police said one of the dogs had to be destroyed while the other had been captured and taken to a secure kennel.

No arrests have been made.

Neighbours said that the dogs turned on Ms Stanley, who was the mother of three daughters.

The dogs were Mastiff-types called Billy and DJ.

One local resident said: ‘I was sat upstairs and I just heard a girl shouting “DJ”. I heard the girl screaming “I can’t get to her” and the next thing someone was kicking the door in.
‘I know they were American bulldog type dogs. She was only a little woman, she didn’t really stand a chance.

‘They always seemed like they were nice enough dogs, they were never out of control. You don’t know what’s provoked it. I’ve heard people saying there was an argument but you just don’t know.

‘The police must have shot them because I heard the shots, it sent our two dogs crazy.’

Another neighbour recalled how local residents went to her aid.

Bev Hall, 39, who lives opposite and has been friends with Ms Stanley for 22 years, told the Mail Online: ‘We both dropped everything and ran over bare-footed.

‘The living room door was closed and Elayne was behind it so we couldn’t get in.

‘I could hear a dog growling and scratching, we threw all sorts to and banged on the windows to try and distract the dogs.

‘Then the police were called, my partner and a couple of the neighbours started throwing bricks at the dogs from the side door.

‘Once the dogs were in the back garden my partner locked them out.

‘By the time the paramedics came there was nothing they could do.’

The girl dog Billy was tranquilised and taken away but DJ was put down at the scene.

In statement Cheshire Police said: ‘At around 5.15pm on Tuesday 24 September police received reports that a 44-year-old woman had been attacked by two dogs at an address on Graham Road in Widnes.

‘Officers attended the property and discovered that the woman was in a serious condition. Sadly, despite the best efforts of all those involved, the woman died at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.

‘Following the attack, repeated attempts were made by officers to safely secure the two dogs in order to remove them from the address.

‘One was safely detained, however officers were unable to secure the second dog. Attempts were made to tranquilise the second dog but this was unsuccessful so, in the interests of public safety, the dog was destroyed. The other dog remains in a secure kennel.’

Detective Inspector Ian Whiley said: ‘We understand that people in the local community will be concerned when they hear about what has happened.

‘But I would like to reassure residents that we are doing all that we can to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

‘However, at this stage, it is believed that the dogs were known to the woman and were living at the address. This has been an extremely distressing incident and our thoughts are with the woman’s family at this difficult time.’

How My Husband Gave Me STDs, Attempted To Strangle Me For Not Sleeping With Him – Woman Cries Out

A woman has cried out in court after revealing the terrible things she passed through in the hands of her cheating husband.
 Fatimo Alimi
An Ibadan-based school teacher, Fatimo Alimi, on Wednesday begged a Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan to dissolve her 22- year-old marriage to her husband, Wasiu.
She told the court that she contracted Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) severally from her husband due to his alleged unfaithfulness.
In her petition before Chief Ademola Odunade, the court’s President, Fatimo also claimed that Wasiu had often attempted to strangle her anytime she denied him sex.
When I discovered that Wasiu was a serial womaniser, I made several attempts to prevail on him to turn a new leaf which failed.
Then, I started developing series of sexual infections, which included offensive odour from my private part, prolonged menstrual cycle and loss of weight among others.
Later, I stopped allowing him to sleep with me and he often beat me up for this reason.
I was hospitalised for days and I knew then that if I continue to stay with him, I might soon die.
Worse still, most of the women he sleeps with are far older than him and often mocked me whenever we meet,” she said.
But the respondent, who opposed the suit, alleged that his wife was involved in an adulterous affair.
In fact, Fatimo’s father is aware of her unholy romance with a man who also visited her when she was hospitalised.
Since 18 years ago, she had complained of the genital problem and I had caught her using certain antibiotics before and she told me that she was just flushing her system.
For the sake of our four children and the fact that both of us might still be of immense benefit to each other, don’t separate us,” Wasiu said.
In his judgment, however, Odunade held that wherever peace was at risk, the law had equipped arbitrators with the power to dissolve a union.
He consequently dissolved the marriage and awarded custody of the four children produced by the union to the plaintiff.
Odunade directed the respondent to pay N16,000 as the children’s monthly feeding allowance in addition to being responsible for their education and other welfare needs, NAN reports.
